-q|-query 

This BRARCHIVE command option sets the query mode.

Input syntax: -q|-query [check]

Default value: Archiving is started.

The preparation for an unattended archiving to tapes could be performed as follows (archiving is not started):

·        brarchive -q check to query the required tapes.

·        Mount the required tape.

·        Enter cont to start the check of the mounted tape.
