Status and Results 

The ping and the component self-test provide the following results:

·        CCMS status of the selected component

The CCMS status of the component is based on information from the SAP Computing Center Management System (CCMS). It is displayed by a symbol, which can be red, yellow, green, or gray, and an explanatory short text.

·        Ping status of the selected component

The ping status of the component is displayed by a symbol, which can be red or green, and an explanatory short text.

The ping is a connection test using HTTP (for Java components) or RFC (for ABAP components).

·        Result of a component self-test

If the component executes a self-test, the overall status of the component and other individual results are displayed by a symbol, which can be red, yellow, or green, and an explanatory short text.

The overall status is only assigned a green symbol if all the individual results also have a green symbol.
