This job detects incoming deliveries by continuously scanning through configured folders.

Features

The folder scanner performs the following functions:

  • Checks all the pre-configured directories for the presence of any files

  • Checks the delivery completeness by checking the presence of all the mandatory files in the current delivery

  • Renames or moves the files, depending on your Customizing settings, from the inbound to the process to the archive folder

  • Updates the runtime instance tables with the initial status for the following objects:

    • Data deliveries

    • Processes

    • Steps
