SAP Demand Signal Management (SAP DSiM) detects new data automatically based on your Customizing settings for the data delivery agreements.
The Persistent Staging Area (PSA) scanner detects new data in the Service Delivery PSA.
To ensure automatic data detection is running properly, you have done the following:
You have activated a data delivery agreement with the data upload method Automatic Upload With PSA Scanner and the data format Tables.
You have defined a delivery DataSource for the data delivery agreement.
If you do not define a delivery DataSource name, then the default delivery DataSource is used to detect any new data deliveries for this data delivery agreement.
The default delivery DataSource for the parameter DELIVERY_INFO_DATASOURCE_NAME is in Customizing for Cross-Application Components under .
You have configured the PSA scanner job in Customizing for Cross-Application Components under and ensured that the jobs in the daemon framework have the status Started.
You can configure how frequently you want the PSA scanner to scan the Service Delivery PSA for new data.
The load manager detects new data deliveries when the PSA scanner identifies at least one new entry in the Service Delivery PSA that you assigned in Customizing for the data delivery agreement.
The load manager can detect multiple data deliveries for a single data delivery agreement.
For example, for a single data delivery agreement, there may be multiple delivery IDs in the Service Delivery PSA at a given time.
The load manager can detect PSA data deliveries sequentially (detection is sequential, and loading can be sequential or in parallel).
