For all attributes that are selected as relevant for attribute value harmonization, you can define which attribute values are allowed. You do this on the Web user interface for attribute value harmonization.
Example
For example, you define the list of all the brand names that are to be used in harmonized objects.
On the same user interface a harmonization user can map the attribute values of source objects to allowed values. All attribute values for which a mapping is defined are automatically replaced by allowed attribute values during harmonization.
If a hierarchy is defined for an attribute, you can only define values dependent on superordinate attributes. For example, you define brand names dependent on manufacturers.
Note
If an input help is defined for an attribute using the Business Add-In (BAdI) Additional Attribute Checks and Input Help in Harmonization you can only define values that are provided by the BAdI implementation.
