Action

Prerequisites

Impact

Skip a step that is in error or not necessarily required for a particular data upload

The process to which this step belongs must have one of the following statuses:

  • Error

  • Ready

  • On Hold

Once you skip a step, you cannot restart it.

Hold

Switch from status Ready to On Hold and Restart again.

The step you selected has the status Ready.

Setting a step to On Hold prevents any subsequent steps from being executed, as they are on hold as well. Steps that were started before continue to be executed. The process definition or data delivery agreement is interrupted.

Restart

The step you selected has the status On Hold.

All the process chains for this step are executed.

Complete

When you upload data manually, for example, ERP master data, you have to set the manual step to Completed.

The step you selected has the status Manual.

Follow-on steps can be executed to bring the new data into the propagation layer.
