This report can help supply and demand planners, marketing directors, product managers, and sales directors to monitor how products are selling, in how many stores, and at what prices.
To run the report, you can use any selection criteria. We recommend that you always use dates as part of your selection criteria. We also recommend that you always use product selection criteria, for example, a specific product hierarchy or product hierarchy node, since product data is displayed at individual product level, and selecting too many products will make the charts difficult to read.
The Product Sales chart shows the net sales value, gross sales value, or sales quantity for each product you selected for the period you selected with different time aggregation levels. The product data is displayed at individual product level.
You can choose to show the product sales data as a list. You can drill down the product sales data using additional characteristics. For example, you can add Source Product to the vertical drilldown to show product sales data at the level of the products at the stores. You can also add Source Country to the horizontal drilldown to show product sales data at country level.
The Product Listing chart shows the number or percentage of stores that are listing the products you selected for the period you selected with different time aggregation levels. The product data is displayed at individual product level.
