To run the report, you can use any selection criteria. We recommend that you always use dates as part of your selection criteria.
The Product Sales chart shows the net sales value, gross sales value, or sales quantity for all the products you selected for the period you selected with different time aggregation levels. The product data is aggregated and is not displayed at product level.
The Product Listing chart shows the number or percentage of stores that are listing the products you selected for the period you selected with different time aggregation levels. The product data is aggregated and is not displayed at product level.
The Sales Comparison chart shows the net sales value, gross sales value, or sales quantity for all the products you selected for the period you selected compared to the last six months, last month, or same time last year. The current date is used to determine the last month and the last six months. For example, if the current date is May 7, the last month is April. However, the period you selected is used to determine the same time last year. In addition, you can show the comparison to the same time last year with different time aggregation levels.
You can choose to show the sales comparison data as a list. You can drill down the sales comparison data using additional characteristics. For example, you can add Source Product to the vertical drilldown to show sales comparison data at product level. You can also add Source Country to the horizontal drilldown to show sales comparison data at country level.
The Product Overview table shows, for each selected product, data such as net sales, sales quantity, number of stores listing the product, and average price. By default, the data is aggregated at week level.
You can drill down the product overview data using additional characteristics. For example, you can remove Calendar Week from the vertical drilldown and add Calendar Month instead to show the data aggregated at month level.
