Allowed Dimensions

You define in Customizing which dimensions (of all dimensions that are available in your system) are used in data harmonization.

Alternative Units of Measure

Each product can have one base unit of measure (UoM) and multiple alternative UoMs, for example, for different package sizes or different dimensions.

If the data is provided with the data delivery, source products can also have one base UoM and multiple alternative UoMs assigned. You cannot change this data. Alternative UoM for the dimensions mass and volume are stored with the product. All other alternative UoMs are stored as additional name/value pairs.

For harmonized products you can define the conversion from the base UoM by specifying denominator and numerator for the conversion into the alternative UoM for mass and volume.

Unit Conversions

If a source product is mapped to a harmonized product, the base units of measure (UoM) can be different. In that case, you define a conversion that is used to convert the quantity in the base UoM of the source product to the base UoM of the harmonized product.

The conversion is stored with the source product.
