This report can help supply and demand planners and sales directors to analyze out-of-stock situations at retailer locations. Out-of-stock data is aggregated at product level.
This report also shows the cumulative net sales values that retailers have lost due to out-of-stock situations. It is also possible to navigate directly to SAP ERP and check for open orders and outbound deliveries for a product.
To allow the navigation to SAP ERP transactions, the launchpad settings have been made in Customizing and in the configuration of the user interface. For more information, enter the keyword Launchpads in the documentation for SAP NetWeaver on SAP Help Portal at http://help.sap.com.
To run the report, you can use any selection criteria. We recommend that you always use dates as part of your selection criteria.
The Products Out-of-Stock table shows all the products that are out-of-stock at a store during the period you selected.
By default, the results are shown as a hierarchy. You can choose to show the results as a list. You can drill down the data using additional characteristics.
