Status Management 
Status management does the following:
Manages the status of each step in the process of uploading data to SAP Demand Signal Management, and enables the system to trigger the right events to either continue or abort data processing
Ensures that all steps are executed in the right order and under the right conditions
Assigns statuses to the following object instances:
Steps
Processes
Data deliveries
Propagates statuses based on predefined rules (cannot be adjusted).
Only one user can modify the status of an object at a time.
Based on the current status of processes and steps, the process flow control (PFC) determines the next possible step for execution. The current statuses can be viewed in the Process Monitor. Here the user can also change statuses, processes, and steps manually, according to the predefined propagation rules.
