Reloading a data delivery can be helpful in the following cases:
A process contains an error that cannot be corrected or repaired
You want to reload a data delivery that has the status Error and the error cannot be corrected so the process could not be completed successfully. Before you reload the process, you have to ensure that there are no issues with the system and it is able to perform a new data upload. This could be, for example, ensuring that the process chain can be executed again. You reload data in the Process Monitor UI by selecting the process and clicking the Reload button. This sets the status of the old process to Canceled and creates a new instance that can then be uploaded.
The sequence of the data deliveries needs to be corrected if you received, for example, the Tuesday data delivery after the Wednesday data delivery
You want to reload one or several data deliveries to correct the sequence manually so that subsequent processing steps (for example, data harmonization) are able to be executed and processed correctly. In this event, manually upload the Tuesday data delivery, then the Wednesday data delivery, then the Thursday data delivery until you have loaded all data deliveries in the correct order. From then on, the data deliveries arrive in the correct sequence and subsequent data deliveries can continue to be processed automatically.
To reload a data delivery, do the following:
In the Process Monitor UI, select the process that has one of the following statuses:
Error
Completed
Canceled
Choose Reload.
If the data delivery agreement of the selected process is Retail Data or Retail Panel Data, a dialog box is displayed. You have the following options:
Select the steps that need to be reloaded if you are reloading a standard data delivery.
This may be all the steps or a subset of the steps in case of Retail Data. In case of Retail Panel Data, you can only reload the entire delivery.
Bear in mind any dependencies that may exist between the steps when selecting which ones you want to execute again.
The system identifies the associated files or data sets that need to be reloaded.
Confirm whether you want to proceed with reloading the entire delivery or just a part of it (partial reload).
A new process has been created and the system displays a message with the new process ID.
The status of the old process changes as follows:

The new statuses are propagated to all the associated steps, process definition, and data delivery agreement levels. You can find the old process in the Status Overview under the status category Finished.
You can find the new process that was just created for the reload under the status category Scheduled, or Running, if it has already started.
After a while, the new process can be found under any other category based on its progress.
