On-Shelf Availability by Location Locate this document in the navigation structure

 

This report can help key account managers to monitor product on-shelf availability at retailer locations. On-shelf availability data is aggregated at location level.

This report also shows the cumulative net sales values that retailers have lost due to out-of-shelf situations. It is also possible to navigate directly to SAP ERP and check for open orders and outbound deliveries for a product.

Prerequisites

To allow the navigation to SAP ERP transactions, the launchpad settings have been made in Customizing and in the configuration of the user interface. For more information, enter the keyword Launchpads in the documentation for SAP NetWeaver on SAP Help Portal at http://help.sap.com.

Structure

Selection Criteria

To run the report, you can use any selection criteria. However, the time period for the search is set to seven days, where the end date is the current date.

Locations Out-of-Shelf

The Locations Out-of-Shelf table shows all the locations that meet your selection criteria and that have had products out-of-shelf within the last seven days.

By default, the results are shown in a hierarchy view. If you have used a location hierarchy in the selection criteria, the results are shown as a hierarchy, otherwise, they are shown as a list. You can choose to show the results in a list view, where you can drill down the data using additional characteristics. For example, you can add Calendar Day to the vertical drilldown to show the data at day level.

Products Out-of-Shelf for Store

You can select a store from the Locations Out-of-Shelf table, then the Products Out-of-Shelf for Store <Selected Store> table will show all the products that are out-of-shelf at that store.

By default, the results are shown in a hierarchy view. If you have used a product hierarchy in the selection criteria, the results are shown as a hierarchy, otherwise, they are shown as a list. You can choose to show the results in a list view, where you can drill down the data using additional characteristics.

After you analyze the on-shelf availability data, you can select a product and navigate directly to one of the following:

  • Stock Analysis by Product report and analyze the stock data for that product

  • List of Sales Orders (VA05) transaction in SAP ERP and check if there are any open orders for that product

  • General Delivery List – Outbound Deliveries (VL06F) transaction in SAP ERP to check if there are any outbound deliveries for that product

  • Stock History (Last 14 Days)
