Use

On the Basic Features tab page you can edit and display basic card data in various group boxes. The settings below determine which data is available:

·        System settings in the product Customizing for Account Management

·        Editing mode (create, change, display)

·        Settings in the Business Data Toolset (BDT)

The details in the Card Identification group box provide information on the card you are currently editing. You cannot enter or change any of these details.

In the Basic Features group box you can display the basic features of the card and edit them depending on the product settings.

In the Card Chip group box you can display the chips available on the card and add more depending on the product settings.

In the Main Card group box you can display or enter the reference data for the main card related to additional cards.

In the Additional Card Functions group box you can display the additional agreements linked to a card and assign more, depending on the product settings.

In the Additional Business Partners group box, you assign additional business partners to business partner roles. For example, if you want to store customer-specific business partner roles for the card, you can specify these here.

Procedure

Üb...

       1.      In the Card Identification group box, check whether you are editing the correct card.

       2.      Enter the required data.

       3.      When you create a card, the system proposes a default value consisting of the first name and last name of the card holder in Embossed Name (Line 1) in theBasic Features group box.
If this default value is longer than the maximum length of the Embossed Name (Line 1) field set for the product, the system outputs a warning that the default value has been shortened, and the embossed name requires editing again before saving.

       4.      In the Additional Business Partners group box, select the business partner role to which you want to assign a business partner.

Note

You cannot assign the business partner roles that the system requires for the card. The system does not use the business partner role assigned here for any special function.

       5.      Assign a business partner.

       6.      Save your entries.
