Release Object PRENOTE (Prenote)
A release object of
Account Management (FS-AM) that enables the system
to recognize whether the creation, change or deletion of a prenote by entry or
processing staff is subject to release. If this is the case, the
framework for the
principle of dual control (CA GTF TS PDC) generates a work
item, that must be then be processed in the
business
workplace by a supervisor or user/staff
responsible for release. The release-relevant prenote is
not active until the release procedure is complete.
In the Customizing for Account Management (FS-AM), you need to choose Item Management ® Prenotes ® Release to specify that creating, changing, or deleting prenotes online is (depending on the prenote type, amount, and transaction currency) effective only once up to three additional persons have also checked processing (the principle of dual, treble or quadruple control). These persons receive a work item via the framework for dual control in the Business Workplace and can then opt to release, change or reject the created, changed or deleted prenote. If the supervisor or user/staff responsible for releasing rejects the payment item, he/she must enter a reason for the entry staff/author. After the final release, the prenote keeps or receives the status Active.
Release via business application programming interface (BAPI) and direct input is not supported.
You can use the following attributes of the prenote to define release reasons in the Customizing settings:
· Prenote type
· Amount in transaction currency
· Transaction currency
If you are a supervisor or releaser, you can process the release object PRENOTE as a work item in the Business Workplace. The following methods are available for this:
· Display
You can display the prenote to be released (see also Displaying a Prenote).
· Change
You can change the Valid To date, long text and short text for the prenote directly in Account Management (FS-AM). Once you have saved your changes, the Framework for the Principle of Dual Control deletes the existing work item and generates a new one.
· Display change documents
You can display any existing change documents for the prenote to be released.
· Reject
If you reject the release, you need to enter a reason that the processing staff/author receives via the Business Workplace.
· Release
In the case of a principle of dual control, the prenote to be released receives the status Active. In the case of the principle of treble or quadruple control, the prenote remains In Release until a second or third supervisor/releaser has processed the work item.
The other methods are not available for release object Prenote.
