On the Basic Data 1 tab page, you can edit and display basic card data in various group boxes. The settings below determine which data is available:

·        System settings in the product Customizing for Account Management

·        Editing mode (create, change, display)

·        Settings in the Business Data Toolset (BDT)

The details in the Card Identification group box provide information about the card you are currently editing. You cannot enter or change any of these details.

In the Card Holder group box, you can display the key data for the card holder and edit it in a limited way.

In the Payment Details group box, you can display the bank details data and edit the account holder.

In the Status Data group box, you can display the status data for a card and edit it in a limited way.

In the Lock Data group box, existing card locks are displayed.

In the Correspondence Request group box, you specify whether correspondence is to be output to an external correspondence tool for all changed card data using a Business Transaction Event (BTE).

Procedure

...

       1.      In the Card Identification group box, check that you are editing the correct card.

       2.      Enter the required data.

       3.      Note that you can change the card holder in the Card Holder group box, but the AM system transfers all other data automatically from the business partner-managing system (Structure linkSAP Business Partner for Financial Services in the standard system) and the card holder role.
Choose Display to go to the detail view of the card holder. This data is there for information purposes only and cannot be changed.

       4.      In the Payment Details group box, you must enter an account holder if the payment details are external.
To deactivate the account number check, set the Deactivate Check Digit Calculation indicator.

       5.      In the Correspondence Request group box, enter a correspondence printer. An input field for the correspondence type then appears.

       6.      Save your entries.
