Use

The Business Content for Global Trade Management allows you to valuate a trading contract as a logistics document using statistical characteristics.

The Business Content allows you to enter on an aggregated level (InfoCube/MultiCube) where you can use different selection criteria (for example, organization, portfolio, material and processor) to gain an overview of the business volume. Using the report-report interfaces you can then enter other selection criteria (for example, material) to go straight to the ODS objects and perform analyses at individual document level.

To use the Business Content you must first activate the shipped objects. For more information, see the documentation for the SAP Business Information Warehouse under Administrator Workbench ® Business Content (Versions).

Features

The following graphic displays the data flow with the corresponding valuation levels:

This graphic is explained in the accompanying text

Data is uploaded to SAP BW using InfoSource 2LIS_46_SCL and is then updated to the ODS Objects (0GT_DS01, 0GT_DS02 and 0GT_DS03). Trading contract data is stored on this data retention level in document-specific detail. From here data is aggregated up to material level according to the organizational levels and is then updated to the InfoCubes (0GT_C01, 0GT_C02 and 0GT_C03). On the level above the InfoCubes you can use MultiCube 0GT_MC01. You can use MultiCube 0GT_MC01 as an entry level for valuations of all trading contracts. Sales figures are the main interest here. In this way you can compare sales from different periods and analyze sales for the current month. From the current sales growth (query 0GT_MC01_Q001) you can perform further analyses at InfoCube level using the report-report interfaces, for example, to valuate trading contracts up to material level.

On the InfoCube level you can also use the report-report interfaces to go directly to the ODS level where data is stored in document-specific detail.
