Technical name: 2LIS_40_S278
As of SAP BW 3.1 content, use InfoSource Material Stocks (2LIS_03_BX).
The InfoSource contains stock data from the SAP component Materials Management. It is used by both the retail and consumer products industries.
This InfoSource is used to transmit the current operative stocks from Materials Management for each document (unaggregated) into SAP BW. It is used to initialize the starting stocks on a specific day’s date in SAP BW. After the stocks have been transmitted, only material movement data is transmitted to BW.
InfoSource 2LIS_40_S278 was already available in SAP BW 2.0A and is still used in SAP BW 2.0B. You will find further information on using InfoSources under Extracting Transaction Data.
