Roles in SAP Retail (Workplace Single Roles)

The workplace single roles are assigned Queries. By assigning a role to a user, you enable him or her to access the Queries that are assigned to the role.

You can use the workplace single roles in the following scenarios:

Using BW with the Workplace

You assign users workplace composite roles, which are made up of single roles. This enables the users to access the Queries for the workplace single roles and to use other workplace functions, such as mini-apps.

Using BW without simultaneously using the Workplace

You assign workplace single roles to the users directly. This enables the users to access the Queries for the workplace single roles.
