Editing a Document 
Use
You edit documents in order to comment on the plan and actual data entered for a combination of characteristic values as regards content. In addition, you can inform yourself about the existing characteristic value assignment of a document or delete a document.
Procedure
Change document
...
1. Choose a planning package in the desired planning environment.
2. Call up the list of available documents by double-clicking on the Documents entry in the Planning Functions screen area.
3. Choose Change from the context menu of the desired document. The system opens the document with the assigned editor in the editing area.
4. Make the desired changes.
Display characteristic value assignment of document
...
1. Choose a planning package in the desired planning environment.
2. Call up the list of available documents by double-clicking on the Documents entry in the Planning Functions screen area.
3. Choose Display Assignment from the context menu of the desired document. The system displays the characteristic values which are assigned to the document.
You can display the assigned characteristic values, but not change them.
Delete a single document
...
1. Choose a planning package in the desired planning environment.
2. Call up the list of available documents by double-clicking on the Documents entry in the Planning Functions screen area.
3. Choose Delete from the context menu of the desired document.
Note when deleting documents that a document is only indirectly assigned to the current planning package. However, the primary assignment takes places exclusively with characteristic values. This means that if you delete a document in the context of a particular planning package, it is also deleted in all other planning packages and layouts at the same time.
In contrast to deleting documents, the Delete function in the context menu of the Documents entry in the Planning Functions screen area, is only used to remove the planning function type from the planning level. Here, the documents remain unchanged in the data basis. If necessary, the documents are also displayed in planning layouts of the current planning level, if these are set up for this, and a suitable combination of characteristic values is set up.
