Use

This function enables you to order follow-on cards.

In the card product you can specify how long you want the lead time to be or the buffer between ordering the follow-on card and the expiry of the validity of the old one.

Depending on this, the report selects all card records to be ordered and also generates an ordering file.

The features and locked procedures of a card are copied to the new card. If Posting Lock Management (PLM) is active, the new card is automatically included in the associated PLM documents.

The system writes a log for a renewal run that you can view at any later time.

The function consists of several partial functions:

Starting a Renewal Run

You can use this report to renew cards that have expired or are shortly due to expire. The data for renewal of a card is either transferred to the processor using the ordering file in batch mode or online.

After the renewal run you can display the log of the renewal run so you can identify any incorrect data records and correct them if necessary.

Display Application Log for Renewal Run

This report enables you to display the logs of the renewal run for cards independently.
