Simulating Account Closures 

Use

This function is a method of business object Account Closure. The system simulates an account closure and carries out a settlement for the account in question, to determine the amount of the interest penalty, for example.

Prerequisites

The prerequisites described in the Account Closure section must be met and the settings listed must have been made.

Activities

The system carries out the following steps:

·        Simulates posting of the account closure charge

·        Calculates interest penalty, taking account of notice amounts and the notice period.

·        If a notice on amount reason is assigned to the account closure reason making a withdrawal that is not subject to interest penalty possible, the system simulates a settlement without calculating interest penalty.

·        Simulates posting of the settlement

·        Determines the remaining balance

The results of the above-mentioned simulation are displayed to you in a window in the form of messages.
