Change: Account/Card Relationship
If you want to carry out a product change for an account that has dependent cards, and therefore an account/card relationship exists, you must note certain special features depending on the Customizing settings for the source and target products of the account and dependent cards.
The Business Add-In (BAdI) Account/Card Relationship is available for your own additional consistency checks between the account and dependent cards. This is found in the Customizing for Account Management (FS-AM) under Contract Management ® Card ® Business Add-Ins ® General BadIs.
There are the following different cases for a product change for accounts that have dependent cards:
· The account product is to be changed, but the product for the dependent card(s) is to remain the same.
The product for the dependent card(s) must also be permitted for the target account product.
In this case, you only need to change the account to the target product.
· Both the account product and the card product are to be changed, whereby the source product for the dependent card(s) is permitted for the target product.
In this case, carry out the following:
§ ...
a. Product change of account to the target product
b. Product change of dependent cards to the target product
· Both the account product and the card product are to be changed, whereby the source product for the dependent card(s) is not permitted for the target product.
In this case, carry out the following:
§ ...
c. Product change of account to a temporary product
d. Product change of dependent cards to the target product
e. Product change of account to the target product
You can change the product of the dependent cards to the target product without changing the product for the associated account. However, the source product and the target product of the dependent cards must both be permitted for the account product.
Initial situation:
· Account A has dependent card R.
· Account A has product B.
· Card product S is permitted as a card product for dependent cards in product B.
· Card R has product S.
A product change is to be carried out for account A to account product C with card product T, whereby only card product T is permitted as a card product for dependent cards in account product C.
The product change (account) from product B to product C cannot be carried out, as there is a dependent card of product S. However, account product C only accepts card products for dependent cards of product T.
The product change (card) from product S to product T cannot be carried out as the account only accepts dependent cards of product S.
Therefore, the product change (account) must be carried out using a temporary product that accepts dependent cards from product S and product T. The procedure is as follows:
...
1. Product change of account A from product B to product D
Card products S and T are permitted as card products for dependent cards in product D.
2. Product change of card B from product S to product T
3. Product change of account A from product D to product C
