Use

A private checking account is settled and posted to on a quarterly basis. However, if you require the interest and charges on a monthly basis, you can use the RFBKCONA report to calculate any interest and charges that would have been incurred in a monthly settlement. Accrual/deferral is calculated separately for account and card results.

Procedure

To call up the RFBKCONA report, choose Account Management ® Periodic Tasks ® General Ledger Transfer ® Accrue/Defer Account Results from the SAP Easy Access screen.

Result

The result of interest and charge accrual/deferral is posted to a separate account on the general ledger (after general ledger transfer) and taken off the books again the next day. This all takes place in one run; you do not have to take the result off the books separately.
