Simulating Account Settlement in Closed Period
(Mass Processing)
You can use the report RBCA_SETTLP_RUN_PP to simulate an account settlement for any key date that is in a period that has already been closed.
Simulation in a settled period includes all postings up to the current payment transaction date. The Include Postings To field is defaulted with the payment transaction date. The system calculates the settlement results that would have been calculated in an account settlement on this date.
For more
information about the report, see the report documentation in the system by
choosing
.
You can start the report with the BCA_ACBAL_SIMPAST_M transaction.
You can use the RFC function module BCA_ACBAL_BAPI_SETTLEMENT_CTRL to simulate account settlements for any key date that is in a period that has already been closed. The simulation results are stored in the settlement simulation tables. You must use the Business Application Programming Interface (BAPI) AccountSettlementAM.GetDetail to read the simulation result
A simulation for a past key date may be necessary for the following reasons:
· Date of death of account holder is in the past: Statement of assets in inheritance tax matters
· Retrospective changes to law: Statement of all interest from the past
· Retrospective simulation of account closure
