Periodic Tasks 

If you use deadline monitoring and the SAP Business Workplace for Posting Lock Management (FS-AM-PLM), we recommend executing the following reports regularly:

·        Activate PLM documents

The system activates all PLM documents with the current document status Scheduled for which the start date has been reached and that can generally be activated.

·        Close PLM documents

The system closes all PLM documents that do not have the document status category Closed and for which the end date has been reached.

·        Start workflow

The system starts a business workflow for all PLM documents that do not have the current document status category Closed and for which the start date for the business workflow has been reached. The system sets the Business Workplace indicator on these PLM documents, meaning that they can only be edited via the SAP Business Workplace.

These reports can be integrated in end-of-day processing in Account Management.
