Handling Interaction in Editable ALV 

You can use the columns of the ALV output to display UI elements that the user can use to change the data displayed there (see Changing Cell Content). The user can also insert rows at certain positions, append them to the end of the ALV output, and delete them (see Adding and Deleting Rows). The write-protection for the ALV output must be deactivated before these actions can be carried out (see Write-Protection and Activation). You must also define the time at which the system checks whether changed data is correct (see Defining the Checking Time).
