Editing Basic Data
On the Basic Data tab page you can edit and display basic account data in various group frames. The settings below determine which data is available:
· System settings in the product Customizing for Account Management
· Editing mode (create, change, display)
· Settings in the Business Data Toolset (BDT)
The details in the Product and Account Identification group frames inform you of the account you are currently editing and the product on which the account is based. You cannot enter or change any of these details.
In the Administration group frame, you enter the purpose and the currency of the account contract. You are shown the current contract status of the account.
In the Notes group frame, you edit the language-dependent notes for each editing area. You can also enter the notes in the subareas cited, such as posting control, and display them here in the account contract.
In the AdditionalAccount Data group frame, specify whether the account is managed for the account holder or on behalf of another person, for example, a notary client account.
In the CorrespondenceRequest group frame, you specify whether correspondence is to be output to an external correspondence tool for all changed account data using a Business Transaction Event (BTE).
...
1. Check the Product and Account Identification group frames to ensure that you are editing the correct account and that your account is assigned to the correct product and product version.
2. Enter the required data.
3. When editing the contract currency, note that this can only be changed conditionally, depending on the contract status and the Customizing settings for the external account identification.
4. In the Notes group frame, the system displays the first line of the note for which the language is preset. The two indicators at the end of the line of text show if there is a longer text or a text in a different language.
If you want to create a longer note, set the indicator in front of the editing area. Then choose Editor and enter the text.
To change the language of the notes, choose Other Languages.
To read the short or long overview of the notes, choose Short Overview or Long Overview.
5. In the Correspondence Request group frame, enter a correspondence printer. An input field for the correspondence type then appears.
6. Save your entries.
