This characteristic is attached as an attribute to those time-independent master data InfoObjects for which new records are created within the Business Warehouse. Release records can no longer be changed in the Business Warehouse. Any further maintenance is performed only in the master data system.

Valid statuses are:

Blank = record is released to the master data system

1 = record is planned
