Use

The merchandise category as it is transferred in the transaction data extractor.

Usually, the merchandise category is transferred as an attribute in the article master data extractor. In certain cases (the POS extractor, for example), it is necessary to transfer the merchandise category with the transaction data in order to model it in an InfoCube dimension.
