Running Alternative Account Settlements (Mass Processing) 

Use

The report RBCA_SETTLA_RUN_PP enables you to run alternative account settlements in a mass run. This is necessary if you want to settle accounts by using different calculation variants. You can use this report to settle accounts that are based on a condition set other than the condition set used by the system to calculate the settlement results for the customer.     

You may need to calculate a settlement using alternative condition sets for one of the following reasons:

·        Statistical evaluation

·        Multiple calculation of a settlement with differences according to settlement type

·        Marketing

·        Controlling aspects

·        Refinancing comparisons

·        Division of charges.

The results can be selected only by means of the BAPI AccountSettlementAM GetDetail.

Integration

You can start the report with the BCA_ACBAL_STYPE transaction.

Example

You want to know, for the purpose of statistical analysis, what the settlement results would have been if the conditions for interest settlement had been one percent higher. In this case, you create an alternative settlement type in the IMG activity under Account Management ® Product Management ® Settlement  ® Define Settlement Types and set up the ones you require. The system calculates a new settlement for you and supplies you with the settlement results using the alternative conditions.
