Processing Time Deposits 
You edit the master data of the time deposit on the Time Deposit tab page.
For more information about the complex relationships, see the documentation for the individual fields.

You can create a new time deposit if it is the first agreement in a time deposit account or if total repayment has been made for a previous agreement.

1. In the Time Deposit Agreement group box, choose Create.
2. In the Basic Data dialog box, enter information about the term of the time deposit agreement.
3. In the Amount Data dialog box, enter the contract amount for the time deposit agreement.
For new agreements, the contract amount determination type is always fixed contract amount. The delta amount field is not relevant for new agreements.
4. In the interest use dialog box, specify what is to be done with the interest that is accrued during the term or at the end of term for the time deposit agreement.
The default value for both fields is Capitalize.
5. In the Actions at End of Term dialog box, specify whether a full payoff of the amounts is to be made to the customer at the end of term.
The default value for the field is None.
6. If you want to lock the interest rate that was valid on the day of creation, then define the deadline and the reason for the rate lock in the Rate Lock group box.
7. Choose Save.

A subsequent agreement is an extension of an existing time deposit agreement in the following cases:
§ The system created a time deposit agreement in automatic rollover.
§ You scheduled a time deposit agreement manually.

1. In the Time Deposit Agreement dialog box, choose the current time deposit agreement and then choose the Detail pushbutton.
2. Make the necessary changes.

If you defined a time deposit grace period in the product configurator, then the following changes are possible in the period without any restrictions:
§ Repayments
§ Term changes
§ Decision what is to happen with the accrued interest
3. Choose Save.
