Making an Application Component Archive 

Use

In order to use a J2EE application component into a J2EE application, you must make the archive of this application component.

Prerequisites

Before you can assemble the components, you must be able to see all three tabs and transfer information between these tabs. For more information see, Setting the Deploy Tool Properties.

Procedure

       1.      In your DLP project, choose the J2EE Components tab.

       2.      Choose a J2EE application component archive.

       3.      Choose J2EE Components ® Make Archive.

To assemble all J2EE application components located in J2EE Components tab, choose J2EE Components ® Make All Archives.

Result

Once the component archives have been created successfully, they are inserted in the structure of the future J2EE application. You can see them in the Assembler tab, where you perform Assembling a J2EE Application.
