Destroying Candidate Data Using HRRCF_CAND
You can use the archiving object HR: E-Recruiting – Candidates (HRRCF_CAND) to destroy candidate profiles and other data on candidates from the talent pool. The data can be destroyed when the following prerequisites are met:
The candidate profile is released or locked
The candidates have no assignment
Note
Data on candidates that were internal employees at some point in the past are not destroyed, even if they do not have an assignment.
The candidates have been inactive in the talent pool for a long period of time
Candidate data is regarded as personal data for data privacy purposes. Therefore, for data privacy reasons, country-specific regulations may mean it is necessary to destroy this data after a defined retention period has been reached.
Note
You can send an e-mail to the candidates whose profiles are to be deleted. This is done by running the preprocessing program. This e-mail informs the candidates that their profiles will be deleted and that their profiles can be retained if they log on to the system before the specified date. This resets the last logon date and also recalculates the retention period of a candidate’s profile.
In particular, this archiving object destroys data from the following infotypes:
