You use this function to reverse an interest goodwill posting that was made manually.

Prerequisites

  • You have created a manual interest goodwill posting.

  • You can always only reverse the last manual interest goodwill posting.

Activities

Enter the following data:

Selection Parameters

Meaning/Effect

CYT ID

Specify the CYT area in which you entered the manual interest goodwill posting.

External module ID

Description of the contract-managing system in which you entered the manual interest goodwill posting.

Tax year

Tax year to which you assigned the manual interest goodwill posting.

Country key of bank

Country key of the contract-managing bank.

Bank key

Bank key of the contract-managing bank.

External account number

Account number of the account contract.

You must enter the external account number with leading zeros, meaning that the account number must always be as long as defined by the country-specific ruling in Customizing.

Business partner

Business partner number of the account holder

Layout

User-specific ALV list

Once you have confirmed your entries, the ALV list displays all data fields of the revenue record and tax amounts. In this list, select the manual interest goodwill posting that you wish to reverse.

You can check the log to verify whether the reversal was carried out correctly:

  • Error log

    • Message type (such as error or information)

    • Message ID

    • Message no.

    • Message variable (1)

    • Message variable (2)

    • Message variable (3)

    • Message variable (4)

  • Posting log

    • External module ID

    • Date of issue of exemption application

    • Entered by

    • Entered on (date)

    • Entered at (time)

    • Origin of entry

    • Changed by

    • Changed on (date)

    • Changed at (time)

    • Origin of change

  • Processing note
