Costing Variants 

It is still possible to perform pricing using calculation variants 1 and 2 found in SAP CRM Release 5.0, but this is not recommended. This is because it has a negative effect on performance if you are using IPC pricing. It has been replaced by direct maintenance of prices in the product.
