Lead-to-Cash: Basic Configuration
In order to work with the Lead-to-Cash scenario, that is, to create and maintain ERP sales transactions in your CRM system, you need to have carried out the following:
You are using SAP ECC for your Quotation and Order Management, and also SAP CRM.
You have defined an RFC destination.
The profile SALESPRO is available to you as standard, but it is delivered without specification of the RFC destination. You therefore still need to assign the RFC destination for SAP ERP to this profile. You do this in Customizing for CRM, by choosing
Note
If you use a trusted RFC connection, you must assign the CRM and ERP users to the SAP_S_RFCACL authorization in order to allocate authorizations. This ensures that your users can access ERP sales transactions from SAP CRM.
You do this in Customizing for CRM, by choosing
Recommendation
SAP recommends that you use a trusted RFC connection.
Basic Configuration: SAP ERP
You have activated the business function Simplified Sales Processes in Sales and Distribution 02(LOG_SD_SIMP_02) in SAP ERP
In order to allocate authorizations for ERP transactions, you must assign the ERP users to the SAP_LO_SD_ORDER_MANAGEMENT authorization role (Suite Excellence Order Management) in SAP ERP.
This role contains all authorizations that are relevant for sales order processing.
For more information on authorization roles, see the Help Portal documentation under
Note
The same user should exist in both SAP CRM and SAP ERP.
Basic Configuration: SAP CRM
You have defined an ERP profile for working with ERP sales transactions.
You have defined profiles for ERP sales transactions.
ERP transaction types (order, quotation, quantity contract) are assigned to the DEFAULT profile with the standard configuration. If you want to define your own profiles and assign your own ERP transaction types, you do this in Customizing for CRM, by choosing .
You have included the Batch field in the Items assignment block in the CRM WebClient UI configuration.
You add this field using the BSP WD Component Workbench (transaction BSP_WD_CMPWB) under the component ERP_I (View: ItemDetail).
You are working with at least one of the following business roles:
Sales Professional (SALESPRO)
You assign this business role to users
IC Agent (IC_AGENT)
You assign this business role to work with the Interaction Center (IC).
Web Channel Manager (ECO-MANAGER)
To work with Web Channel, you assign this business role to users for administrative tasks
Alternatively, you have defined your own business role and assigned a function profile to this role. You do this in Customizing for CRM, by choosing .
For more information on business roles, see the Help Portal documentation under
In this Customizing activity, you can define your own ERP sales order profile. The business roles SALESPRO and IC_AGENT have a function profile assigned to ERP_SALES_ORDER with the standard configuration, which includes quotation, sales order and quantity contract.
You have adjusted the work center group links for the relevant business roles
If you work with the Sales Professional (SALESPRO) role, you can only work with CRM transactions with the standard delivery. If you want to work with ERP transactions as well, you have to adjust the work center group links to allow you to search for and / or create ERP sales transactions. You make these settings in Customizing for CRM, by choosing Select the business role SALESPRO and choose the Adjust Work Center Group Links folder.
The following work center link groups are available for ERP sales transactions:
