Initial Load of Materials and Services 

Use

You use this activity to replicate the materials or services that you specified in the filter settings from the ERP to the CRM system.

Procedure

       1.      Check in transaction BD54 that all source systems from which you want to load materials or services are included in the table TBDLS.

       2.      In the Load Object field, enter MATERIAL or SERVICE_MASTER.

       3.      In the Source Site field enter the site ID of the sending system, and in the Destination Site field enter the site ID of the receiving system.

       4.      To run the replication, choose Execute (F8).

If you want to use materials or services in your mobile application, you need to download the materials or services to the consolidated database (CDB). The data exchange objects are PRODUCT_MAT and PRODUCT_IL_MAT, and PRODUCT_SRV and PRODUCT_IL_SRV. The sending system is the CRM system and the receiving system is the CDB.

Note also that the control indicator that determines whether a check should be performed in CRM against serial numbers is stored in the set type CRM_SERIALNUM. The value of this indicator is determined from the serial number profiles of the materials when the materials are downloaded.

This set type is not assigned to a category when material categories (DNL_CUST_PROD1) are downloaded. A manual step is therefore required prior to the download in which this set type is assigned explicitly to the relevant categories, for example MAT_HAWA. For more information, see Note 824780.
