This function enables you to pre-select the synchronization criteria to synchronize data from the Mobile Client Laptop application to the PDA.

Prerequisites

You have installed the Mobile System Maintenance (MSY), Mobile .NET Sales - Consumer Packaged Goods (MSC) or the Mobile .NET Sales - Pharma (MSP).

Features

  • You can use this function to pre-select and save the criteria for PDA synchronization on the Mobile System Maintenance screen.

    • These settings will automatically reflect on the corresponding Mobile Client Companion Synchronization screen on the Mobile Client Laptop application.

    • By pre-selecting and saving the criteria for PDA synchronization on the Mobile System Maintenance screen, you can avoid making selections of individual criterion under Synchronization Objects on the Mobile Client Companion synchronization screen in the Mobile Client Laptop application, for every instance of synchronization.

Activities

  • To pre-select the PDA synchronization criteria for an Activity, Business Partner or Associated Contact Person choose a combination of the following options:

    • Download

    • Delete

    • With Associated Objects

    • Retain Data

  • ChooseSave

Note Note

  • When you choose Delete, the Downloadand Retain Data options will be disabled.

  • When you choose Download, the Delete option will be disabled.

  • The system will display the pre-selected criteria for PDA synchronization on the Mobile Companion Synchronization screen under Synchronization Objects tile in the mobile client laptop application.
