Transaction Types and Item Categories for C&I Customers 

Use

Make the basic settings in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management under Transactions ® Basic Settings.

The standard delivery already contains four specific transaction types for commercial and industrial customers:

For the business transaction category BUS2000249

●      IUSL (C&I customer contract IS-U (simplified))

●      IUSQ (C&I customer quotation IS-U (simplified))

For the business transaction category BUS2000112

●      IUS0 (C&I customer contract IS-U)

●      IUS5 (C&I customer quotation IS-U)

Each includes two specific item categories, as recognized from the residential customer integration:

●      IUSQ (C&I customer contract IS-U (simplified))

●      IUSL (C&I customer quotation IS-U (simplified))

such as

●      IUS0 (C&I customer contract IS-U)

●      IUS5 (C&I customer quotation IS-U)

 

You must observe the following for the commercial and industrial customer scenario: Commercial and industrial customer items require certain date types to transfer the ‘price template’ (see also the default date profile ISU_003 for the quotation and ISU_002 for the contract). Both date sets contain the date types Contract Start (CONTSTART) and Planned Contract End (ISU_PL_CTEND). In addition, you can include the date types Valid From VALIDFROM and Valid To VALIDTO for the quotation.

The standard system also includes an item category determination, which links the named transaction types with the item categories.

To enable you to differentiate between residential customers and commercial and industrial customers, maintain the general settings in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management, under Transactions ® Basic Settings, as well as the enhanced settings under, Industry-Specific Solutions ® Utilities Industry ® Transactions ® Settings for Utility Transactions. The following extended tables are available:

●      IS-U transaction types in the table Define Transaction Types ECRM_ISU_PROCTYP) (general settings, not specifically for commercial and industrial customers!)

●      IS-U item categories in the table Define Settings for Item Categories (ECRM_ISU_ITMTYPE)
If you select the indicator for Commercial and Industrial Customer Contract, the pricing maintenance tab pages are added to contract maintenance.
