Create Sites for the Groupware Adapter
You must create sites for the groupware adapter. You need to use the site types Groupware Adapter 01 (mBDoc) or Groupware Adapter 02 (sBDoc). You must create a site based on the Groupware Adapter 01 (mBDoc) site type to enable:
The exchange of activities and tasks between activity management/workforce management in CRM and groupware
The bi-directional exchange of business partner data with the public contact folder of the groupware
In addition, if you want to enable the transfer of business partner data into the private contact folder of each groupware user, you must create a site based on the Groupware Adapter 02 (sBDoc) site type. This is essential, because the business partner is mapped to the private folder using the sBDoc type. The replication and realignment mechanisms that are available in CRM Middleware can be utilized in this way. As a result, the Groupware Adapter 02 (sBDoc) site type corresponds to the sBDoc type flow in the groupware adapter.
The differences in the use of the two site types are demonstrated in Differences Between the Site Types.
Note
You need to create sites based on your requirement. For example, if you want to exchange the business partner data with the public and private contact folders of groupware, you must create sites based on both the site types, Groupware Adapter 01 (mBDoc) and Groupware Adapter 02 (sBDoc).
