RFC Connections for the Conversion Server
To communicate with the conversion server, you require an RFC connection on the server for saphttp.exe and sapftp.exe.
Install the SAP Gateway and files saphttp.exe and sapftp.exe on the conversion server.
The files saphttp.exe and sapftp.exe are in each SAP GUI installed base directory. To install these files on the conversion server, you need only copy them to a user-defined directory. for example, C:\Windows.
Maintain the RC connections in Configuration of RFC Connections (transaction SM59) as follows:
Connection type: T
Activation type: Start explicitly on this host
Program: The path to files sapftp.exe and saphttp.exe, for example, C:\Windows\saphttp.exe
Target host: localhost
Save as: <host name>
Gateway host: <conversion server>
Gateway service: <Name of SAP Gateway>
You require RFC connections saphttp and a sapftp for Customizing of the conversion server. For more information, see the Customizing at .
