The Knowledge Management component has a folder structure that you can administrate as a portal administrator.

To assign authorizations for the folder, use SAP Note 578947. There are supplementary special authorizations for Knowledge Management in SAP CRM, which are detailed in the following:

  • Discussion forums

    • Authorizations

      • For everyone: Read OR read/write, according to need

        • Read for users who participate in active discussions and can delete their own contributions if there are no replies to them.

        • Read/write for users who create new discussion forums and discussions, who participate in active discussions, and who can delete all discussion topics even if there are replies to them.

        • Read for partner managers.

  • <form_ID> (whereby <form_ID> can be FAQs, News & all other new projects)

    <form_ID> is a subfolder for documents. For more descriptions, see under sapcrmnews.

    • Authorizations

        • Read for users who may see resources

        • Read/Write for authors who may create and maintain resources
