An HTTP data source specifies an HTTP server with which the Knowledge Management (KM) component can communicate. A WebDAV server displays an HTTP server. You can display the documents retrieved by a WebDAV server.

Prerequisites

You have administrator rights for the KM component on your server and you have successfully set up the HTTP service.

For more information about setting up the HTTP service, see Setting Up the HTTP Service in the Internet Communication Manager (ICM).

Procedure

  1. Create a new HTTP system.

    For information about creating an HTTP system, see the SAP Help Portal at help.sap.com.

  2. Under Server URL, enter the URL of the HTTP service.

    If you use external aliases, enter them here.

  3. If you have not chosen an anonymous logon, set the Same User Domain indicator.

    In an anonymous logon, you can leave the Same User Domain indicator empty.
