Defining Values for Listing Parameters 
You can define certain parameters that determine how the Mobile Sales application searches for listings.
These settings are affect the following tile sets of Mobile Sales:
Business Partner/Listing Display
Business Partner/Listed Products Display
Partner/Product Ranges/Listing Display
Partner/Product Ranges/Listed Products Display
Listings/Listings Display
Listings/Listed Products Display
Note
The Transaction Typeand Maintenance Group parameters affect only the Listings/Listings Display and Listings/Listed Products Displaytile sets.
Perform the following steps in Mobile System Maintenance.
Choose .
Enter values for the following fields:
Lead-period new listings start-date (days)
Lead-period new listings end-date (days)
Lead-period delistings start-date (days)
Lead-period delistings end-date (days)
The Mobile Sales application uses the values that you enter for these fields to calculate the start and end dates while searching for new listings and delistings.
A positive value indicates the number of days that must be added to the current date; a negative value indicates the number of days that must be subtracted from the current date.
The start and end dates that the application calculates appear in the Valid From and To fields, respectively on the Listing Search and Listed Products Search tiles. Users can change the dates.
In the following cases, the Mobile Sales application uses these values to calculate the start and end dates of the period for which users want to view the newly listed or delisted products :
Search for prioritized and unprioritized PPRs
Plausibility check
Search for product proposals or exclusions
Example
Enter -10 for Lead-period new listings start-date (days)and 10 for Lead-period new listings end-date (days).
On 30.11.2005, when users search for new listings for a business partner, the dates 20.11.05 and 10.12.05 appear in the Valid Fromand To fields of the Listings Search tile. The application finds products that were added to listings for the business partner between 20.11.05 and 10.12.05.
Mark new listings / delistings
You can define whether new listings and delistings are marked in the In/Out column on the Listed Products tile when users perform a prioritized or unprioritized search, plausibility check, or a search for product proposals or exclusions.
Letter for new listings and Letter for delistings
You can define the letter that must be used to mark new listings and delistings in the In/Out column on the Listed Products tile.
Example
Enter -5 for Lead-period new listings start-date (days) and 14 for Lead-period new listings end-date (days).
Choose X in the Mark New Listings/Delistings field.
Enter E and A in the Letter for New Listings or Letter for Delistings fields respectively.
On 06.12.05, when users search for product proposals for a business partner in the Business Partner component of Mobile Sales, the application finds all products that are listed for the business partner between 01.12.05 and 20.12.05. Products that are new listings or delistings in this period are marked on the Listed Productstile in the In/Outcolumn with the letters E and A respectively.
Hierarchy nodes/inheritance
You can define whether a search for listings belonging to a business partner or business partner hierarchy node must also include listings that are indirectly assigned via the business partner group hierarchy.
Maintenance group
You can define the maintenance group that must be suggested, by default, on the Listings Search and Listed Products Search tiles.
Transaction type
You can define the transaction type that must be suggested, by default, on the Listings Search and Listed Products Search tiles. This default value is used when a transaction type is required to determine the listing procedure in an application but the calling component (say, Business Partner) does not have a transaction type.
