You can view the territories assigned to an employee by choosing   Territory Management   Employee Territories   in MSY.

If several territories are assigned to a sales representative, you can set one of these territories as the default territory. If, for example, an activity or a campaign is created in Mobile Sales for this employee, the application automatically proposes the default territory.

Note Note

In CRM Enterprise, territory determination is used to propose a territory in a business transaction.

For more information, see Territory Determination in the Business Transaction.

Integration

  • If an employee is selected as the main person responsible for a territory in CRM Enterprise (Main Position of Territory), this is indicated in the Main Responsible field of the Assigned Territories tile in MSY.

  • The partner function in which an employee is assigned to the territory (in CRM Enterprise) appears in the Partner Function field of the Assigned Territories tile in MSY.

For more information, see Assigning Employee to Territory.

Prerequisites

Territories and territory hierarchies are maintained in CRM Enterprise.

Note Note

To download assignments of employees to territories to the mobile applications, in Customizing for CRM, choose   Master Data   Territory Management   Data Transfer   Import Assignments of Employees to Territories  .

If you change a territory assignment and need this information in mobile applications, you must perform a delta download of the organizational data to the mobile clients. You do this in Customizing for CRM by choosing   Master Data   Organizational Management   Data Transfer   Copy Organizational Structure to CRM Mobile  .

End of the note.

Activities

To set a territory as the default territory for an employee, select the Default indicator for the relevant territory in the Assigned Territories tile.
