You use this procedure to set the default relationship category that Mobile Sales must use for logged-in users when they create business partners in the mobile client.

Procedure

Perform the following steps in Mobile System Maintenance (MSY):

  1. Choose   Cross-Component Settings   Choice Fields  .

  2. Select the choice field, RESPEMPRELATION.

    The default value for this choice field is BUR011, which represents the relationship type, Has the Employee Responsible.

  3. Enter one of the following values:

    • A relationship category such as BUR010 (Has the Employee)

      When a user creates a business partner, the application uses the logged-in user as the employee responsible with the relationship category that you enter here (say, BUR010). This relationship category appears in the   Business Partners   Sales Team   tile in Mobile Sales.

    • An asterisk (*)

      When a user creates a business partner, the application uses BUR011 as the relationship category. The name that appears as the employee responsible in the Business Partners/Details tile set is the same as that of the first main sales team member, regardless of the relationship type.

  4. Save the changes.
