You can make general settings for the business hours for business partners and contacts.

You can also define the schedule types that must be exchanged between the mobile clients and CRM.

Procedure

Perform the following steps in Mobile System Maintenance.

  1. Choose   Business Partner Settings   Business Hours  .

  2. The Schedule Type for Business Hours tile contains the following schedule types, which are part of the standard.

    • V (visiting hours)

    • P (calling hours)

    • G (goods receiving hours)

    The corresponding schedule types in CRM appear in the Schedule Type field. You cannot change these values.

    You can define your own schedule types and change settings for existing schedule types. The schedule type ID must be a single character (letter or number).

  3. Indicate whether the schedule type must be used for business partners, contacts, and contact relationships.

  4. If simple rules (weekly rules) must be used, select the limited rules indicators for business partners/contacts or relationships, as required.

    Ensure that the settings in CRM match the settings that you make here.

  5. Indicate whether the schedule type can be maintained independent of the territory (relevant for the Mobile Sales for Pharmaceuticals application).

  6. Enter language-specific descriptions for the schedule types in the Schedule Type Text tile.

  7. In the Language for Business Hours tile, set the language in which long texts for the rules must appear. These texts are generated as a summary from the individual rules and are determined in the adapter.
