Downloading Historical Data from BI to CDB 

Prerequisites

·        You have specified the characteristic values to be downloaded and the virtual planning profiles in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management by choosing Account Planning à Key Figure Planning à Define Planning Profiles for Mobile clients.

·        You have defined the necessary settings for virtual planning layouts in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management by choosing Account Planning à Key Figure Planning à Define Planning Profiles for Mobile clients.

·        You have performed the required Customizing for BPS using the UPX_MNTN transaction.

Procedure

..

       1.      Start the initial load (transaction: R3AS) from CRM Enterprise.

       2.      Enter PLAN_DATA_HIST in the Load Objectfield.

       3.      Check the status of the download with the other middleware reports and CDB tables.

You can check the behavior of the planning layout in CRM Enterprise by adding the _DEBUG parameter in the BI system in the UPX_MNTN transaction and setting the value of the parameter to 0CRM_ACCPLN=<account_plan_id>. This stops execution of the program when the planning layout for the corresponding account plan (<account_plan_id>) is loaded. The program enters the debug mode in the ABAP workbench.
