Replication of Vendor Master Data 

Purpose

Vendor master records can be replicated from the ERP system to the CRM system using an initial download. The vendors are created in the CRM system as business partners with the Vendor role. Data modified in CRM can be replicated back to the ERP system using a delta upload.

Prerequisites

The report CRM_VENMAP_TO_CRMM_BUT_VENDNO is available for converting data in the BBP table VENMAP to the CRM table CRMM_BUT_VENDNO. This report should be run after upgrading to CRM 5.0.

Process Flow

The following activities have to be performed to replicate the vendor master data to the CRM system:

       1.      Activate the generation of vendor records in CRM

       2.      Activate the generation of vendor records in ERP

       3.      Synchronize field settings

       4.      Specify filter settings for initial data transfer (optional step)

       5.      Start initial data transfer of vendor master records

       6.      Monitor replication status of vendor master records

       7.      Specify settings for delta upload

       8.      Activate delta download
